Parabellum is a slow-paced, top-down game where the objective is simply to explore the environment. Using just the mouse, you guide yourself through your underwater environment in search of wisps: glowing fireflies located throughout the fog-covered world. Swim through a lost wisp to pick it up. From that point on it will follow you wherever you go. At the center of the world is the seed of the life tree. Only one thing can restore the life tree to its full glory - the healing energies of wisps. After collecting wisps in the environment, return them to the life tree to help it grow.
As the life tree grows, it spawns red fruits. Eating these fruits will cause your body to grow longer by creating a new part
at the end of your body in a burst of colorful leaves. The longer your body,
the more wisps that can be following you at one time. Additionally, picking up wisps becomes easier as you get longer,
since any part of your body may be used to collect them. These fruits can also be found lying throughout the world.
There's no need to rush when playing Parabellum. It is meant to be a simple and enjoyable experience with beautiful visuals
and a calm, flowing ambiance. Take your time to explore and interact with everything around you.
After exploring the entire environment, taking in the beautiful scenery, and returning all of the wisps to the life tree,
the life tree will be fully grown and you will be victorious!
